After a year's break, the working group (AK) History has now presented a Meisaha booklet with contributions on local history.
Maisach - The issue is about cinemas, the summer cellar, changes in retail and the 60-year history of the children's playground in Gernlinden.
The archives were open again this year, making it easier to meet contemporary witnesses.
Therefore, according to AK director and local archivist Stefan Pfannes, it was again possible to research and collect enough articles for a Meisaha booklet.
Nevertheless, there are currently only seven active authors, so young people are welcome, even younger ones.

By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular
FFB newsletter.)
In the future, the magazine will be published every two years.
In the interim years, the AK plans exhibitions and events on local history.
In 2023, for example, there will be a reading at the Literature Café in Gernlinden.
Pfannes contributed an article to the magazine about the cinemas in Maisach.
He only says this much: "There was a lot going on there." This also applies to the summer cellar.
Helga Rueskäfer, who is still diligently researching Munich archives at the age of 85, sheds light on its history from the founding of the brewery in 1556 to today's swinger club.
Karl Muth reports on former Maisacher shops and the Gernlindener coal dealer Sistig, Stefan Schader on the car dealership Walter.
