The Russian company Gazprom announced that daily shipments of Russian gas to China via the Sila-Siberia gas pipeline set a new historical record.
Sputnik quoted the company as saying in a statement today on its Telegram channel: “At the request of the Chinese side, the daily supplies of Russian gas increased in the current December compared to the previously approved schedule, and yesterday it reached a new historical record,” noting that the increase amounted to Daily contractual obligations of Gazprom under the gas purchase and sale agreement 16.4 percent.
The company stated that the deliveries are made under a long-term bilateral gas purchase and sale agreement between it and the China National Petroleum Corporation.
