The crowds took to the streets equipped with fireworks and cheers - and celebrated her unprecedented victory.
One of the focal points of the celebrations was in Nazareth and Reina, where the celebrants were seen on the streets of the city honking in their cars in convoys, waving flags from cars and around the city - as well as shooting fireworks into the air.
