A small Bengal cat is released in a HelloFresh box.

The animal protection association finds him and just hopes that he will make it.

But in vain.

Update from November 20, 11:58 a.m .:

Unfortunately, he didn’t make it – the little Bengal cat Akira has now fallen asleep forever in the arms of the animal shelter manager.

"We are very sad that we could not help him," writes the club from Giessen on Facebook.

The cute baby cat was struggling with all sorts of health problems and was therefore probably abandoned and found in a Hello Fresh box.

He couldn't use his hind legs properly, couldn't digest his food properly, and suffered from uncontrolled diarrhea.

"He suddenly felt very bad and even though the foster home went straight to the vet, she had no chance," the shelter continues on Facebook.

Now Akira has found his eternal peace.

First report from November 17th, 2:59 p.m.:

Bengal cats are popular pedigree cats because of their appearance and because of their rarity they are not cheap to buy.

This should be clear to most people who decide to get a Bengal cat.

Much less is known about the nature of the little "leopards".

According to

fressnapf.de

, Bengal cats are very enterprising, communicative and need a lot of attention.

Doing nothing and lying around lazily is not for them.

If it gets bored, the Bengal cat looks for fields of activity and doesn't hesitate to open cupboards, clear out shelves and "re-decorate" its surroundings, the site continues, as reported by the Giessener Allgemeine.

Baby hangover completely wormed: Tierschutzverein Gießen asks for information

It is possible that this wild disposition was also the undoing of a little Bengal cat in Gießen.

The animal protection association Giessen and surroundings e.

V. reports on its Facebook page that the young tomcat was recently found in the club's found animal house in a box from the "HelloFresh" delivery service.

He was "very badly wormed" and overall in "not good condition".

"He can't use his hind legs properly, he pulls them behind him a bit," the animal protection association continues.

The found animal is now in the nursing station of the association.

"We hope that he comes through," gives the animal welfare a realistic insight into the condition of the young cat.

The Gießen animal protection association did not find the little Bengal tomcat in good condition.

Baby hangover completely wormed: Many users wish him a speedy recovery

In the comments, Facebook users overturned with recovery wishes for the Bengal cat.

"Poor guy … all fingers are crossed for the little darling," writes a user.

Another user is already offering the little cat a new home: "We would love to take him if he was found," she explains.

Many comments also give the animal protection association hope for a recovery of the young animal: "Our baby cat, which we took from Mallorca many years ago, also had massive problems with its hind legs when running," says a user.

However, thanks to medication and the right food, the cat became so healthy again that all the other cats had problems following her.

"She turned 20 with us."

Two other cats from Gießen are not doing well either: Ninja and Chica were bitterly affected by fate.

They ended up at the Giessen animal shelter.

Now they are looking for a new home.
