In the shadow of the protest: the Jewish leadership of Iran is playing with fire Israel today

2022-12-10T16:57:45.107Z

The Jewish community in Iran should remember the sad history of the country and avoid as much as possible attachment to the existing regime • Furthermore, it is important to remember that the option of immigrating to Israel exists for them and that this is better than alienation and condemnation on their Sabbath in Iran

In 1979, about one hundred thousand Jews lived in Iran.

They were part of a large, prosperous community and very close to the Shah's regime, the control of Iran before the Islamic Revolution.

After the victory of the revolutionaries and the establishment of the Islamic regime in Iran, most of the Jews left the country, but the new rulers did not forget to take revenge on the Jews who worked and supported the previous regime, led by Habib Alkanian, a successful businessman and head of the Jewish Organization of Iran.

Alkanyan, who was close to the Shah and stood out for his support, was executed by the regime immediately after the revolution and was only the first in a long series of executions.

Historically, the Jews in Iran have always submitted themselves to any government, and no matter what regime was at the head of the country and what was its attitude towards the community or the Iranian people, the Jews always found themselves on the side of whoever was in power.

Even today, the Jews of Iran keep their heads down, even though the regime is an Islamic dictatorship and a sworn enemy of the people living in Zion.

Jews in Iran are not allowed to visit Israel or to come and pray in the holy places of the Jewish religion located in Israel.

They are not even allowed to talk on the phone with their families in Israel.

Their children must step on the Israeli flag at the entrance to school and they must shout death to Israel in demonstrations on Jerusalem Day.

Despite all this, the 10,000 Jews remaining in Iran still express support for the regime without thinking twice about their people.

The Central Organization of the Jews of Iran published a written statement this week, signed by the head of the organization, in which he expressed support for the "holy Islamic regime and called the protesters against the regime" rebels who violate public order." At the end of the statement it is written that "the Jews of Iran stand behind the great leader Khamenei." "

It is not clear to what extent the message published by the Jewish organization came out under pressure from the regime and what kind of pressure the community leaders faced before sending the message.

However, what is clear is that history will not forget this message of the Jews at a time when young Iranians were being murdered by the regime's men in the streets.

If in the end these demonstrations, today or tomorrow or even another year, mature into a real revolution and overthrow the Islamic regime in Iran, the Jews may pay the price.

The Jewish community could easily become victims of the victors because there is no shortage of that either

Antisemitism in the country, also on the side of the opponents of the regime.

Homion Simach, head of the Jewish Organization of Iran, is also a member of Iran's parliament and one of the Jews most associated with the authorities.

Siamak Mora Tzedek, who was in office before him, was also one of the prominent supporters of the regime and did not spare in criticizing Israel's policies with harsh words against the Israeli leaders and even against the IDF soldiers. There is no doubt that these leaders will be the clear target for the next victors in Iran and this without mentioning the dozens Jews who work and do business with all kinds of different mechanisms of the regime such as the Revolutionary Guards. The next Habib Alkanian in Iran is already marked by the opponents of the regime.

Jews pray in a synagogue in Tehran, the capital of Iran.

For those who do not know, it is important to note that the Jews who are in Iran today are not hostages of the regime.

They are free to leave Iran whenever they want and easily reach Israel or even the United States.

But they choose, mainly for economic reasons related to their property in the country, choose to stay in Iran.

It is impossible to know what will happen the day after the next revolution in Iran, but right now the leaders of the Jews in the country are causing enormous damage to the attitude of the revolutionaries to the Jewish community in the country and in the world.

They should download their profile and not follow everything the authorities ask for.

Perhaps the time has come for the dear Jews in Iran to abandon their diasporic thinking and instead of thinking about their businesses and the money they earn in the country, for which they must stand by the brutal regime and attack and humiliate Israel and the IDF soldiers, take their suitcases and leave the country of the Ayatollahs because it is better to endure the hardships Immigrating to Israel from humiliating and condemning your people.
