And even when they compel slanderers in law, the amount of compensation awarded is ridiculous.
As a lawyer who deals a lot with defamation, I am aware of the arduous, frustrating and expensive way of managing defamation cases.
Most judges look for compromises and are lenient, especially when it comes to character assassination over a political dispute.
The result is catastrophic, and it is manifested in the extreme crushing of the name and reputation of Naftali Bennett and Ayelet Shaked, at the direction of Netanyahu, Smotrich and their ilk.
But it really doesn't stop there, because the recipe for slander is certainly not only the property of the Netanyahu camp.
