Trump attacked US Jewry and warned Israel | Israel Today

2022-12-10T21:03:49.175Z

The former president went on the attack after being severely criticized for his meeting with anti-Semitic activist Nick Faunts • "How quickly did the Jewish leaders forget that I was the best president for Israel by far," Trump wondered

Another sharp attack by the former American president, Donald Trump, on the leadership of American Jewry and his strong hint against Israel.

In response to the criticism leveled at him in recent weeks by many in the US, due to the meeting with the anti-Semitic rapper Kanye West and the Holocaust denier, Nick Fuentes wrote the following on Friday on his social network "The Truth": "How quickly Jewish leaders forgot that I was the best president of

Israel , by a large margin.

They should be ashamed of themselves.

Their lack of credibility towards their best friends is the reason why many members of Congress, and many others, have stopped supporting Israel."

Trump attached to his message an article by the journalist, Wayne Allen Roth, who was born Jewish but in 2016 declared himself an evangelical Christian.

Roth, a consistent supporter of Trump from the beginning, came to Trump's defense and dismissed the importance of the meeting between Trump and West and Fuentes.

"The story (against Trump) is a hoax. It's hot air of the highest order. Kanye West worked on Trump. Kanye clearly suffers from a mental disorder. He wanted to create a media firestorm to fuel his crazy political ambitions. Trump just had dinner and was going to give career advice To the billionaire celebrity," wrote Alan Roth.

He also noted Trump's Jewish background.

"What makes the story hot air is Trump's background and record. Trump himself is a Jewish grandfather - his grandchildren are Orthodox Jews. Trump opened Mar-a-Lago to Jewish friends - the first club ever to do so in Palm Beach. Trump received the badge of The 'grand marshal' of the Salute to Israel parade in New York. And of course everything he did for Israel."

This is not the first time that Trump has accused American Jewish leaders of favoring him.

He claimed in the past that the series of historic steps he took for Israel should have made the Jewish leadership support him.

A few days before the meeting with West, he wrote that the Jews in the USA should act together with him and appreciate his actions for Israel, "before it is too late".
