An abnormality in the water quality was discovered today (Sunday) at Ziv Hospital in Safed.
As a result, some of the hospitalized were forbidden to shower, and the rescue organizations were instructed not to refer new patients to the hospital.
The hospital staff provided mineral water to the wards.
The anomaly was discovered in the area where the main piping enters the hospital, as part of routine inspections by the Ministry of Health in the water systems.
The findings were reported to the water company and the health bureau.
The hospital stated that "as a precaution and in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Health, we asked the hospitalized in some wards not to shower."
The hospital emphasized that there is no danger to the public or patients.
According to the hospital, they will return to full routine tomorrow in all departments.
