Plane crash: Prince William mourns the loss of a close friend

Prince William in mourning: his close friend, game warden Mark Jenkins, died in a plane crash in East Africa.
The heir to the throne said goodbye emotionally on Twitter.
London – It's not an easy time for Prince William (40): Amidst the anger surrounding the Netflix documentary by Prince Harry (38) and Meghan Markle (41), the heir to the throne now has to deal with a painful farewell.
A close friend, whom the heir to the throne knew from his student days, died under dramatic circumstances.

Prince William's pain is deep:
"Yesterday I lost a friend who dedicated his life to protecting wildlife in some of East Africa's most famous national parks
," Kate Middleton's (40) husband publicly mourns Mark Jenkins in a tweet, who, as a game warden in Kenya, had dedicated himself to preserving endangered animal species.

It goes on to say,
"Mark Jenkins and his son Peter tragically died while on an air patrol over Tsavo National Park.

Prince William awards his own environmental prize:
At the beginning of December, Prince William proved that nature and species conservation are very important to him: in the US metropolis of Boston, the heir to the throne presented the Earthshot Climate Prize, which he had founded and created.
The winners in five categories included the Latin American Costa Rica, the northern Italian city of Milan and innovative companies that research and promote in the field.
The prize is endowed with one million pounds each.
Prince William commemorates deceased friend – second loss in a few months
For Prince William, who lost another loved one just a few months after the death of his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II († 96), the loss weighs extremely heavily, as the 40-year-old revealed in a second tweet: “Tonight I think To Mark's wife, family and colleagues who have sadly lost a man we all loved and admired."

The heir to the throne is also an avid and dedicated conservationist himself, and will likely continue to support his late friend's work in memory of his late friend.
His brother and his wife, on the other hand, have an ambivalent relationship on the subject of environmental protection: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were repeatedly noticed as climate sinners when they outraged with a private jet flight.
