Since the publication of an article in Le
Parisien
on December 7, the story has stirred social networks, going well beyond the small world of Sciences Po. At the heart of the storm: Valérie P., dance teacher, director of a school located rue Falguière, in the 15th arrondissement of Paris.
"With regret"
, next semester, the one who is herself a graduate of the IEP will no longer provide the ballroom dancing lessons she gave to students from the prestigious school on rue Saint-Guillaume.
What happened?

According to the Institute,
“several students complained to the administration about sexist, discriminatory, degrading remarks and minimizing sexist and sexual violence, repeatedly made by the teacher”
.
On Twitter, one of these students, involved with EELV and presenting himself as
"eco-socialist and eco-feminist"
, describes Valérie P. as
"sexist and homophobic"
, denouncing
"inappropriate remarks throughout the course"
and
“a lack of professionalism…
