The Syrian Trust for Development, in partnership with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, provided a grant of wheat seeds and fertilizers to farmers in Al-Ghab Plain to empower them on their lands and contribute to achieving self-sufficiency for them.
The Municipality stated on its Facebook page that the grant included 200 kilograms of wheat seed and 150 kilograms of super phosphate fertilizer, targeting 1,000 productive farmers in seven villages in the Al-Ghab Plain, in order to secure for them the cultivation of about 6,000 dunams of wheat.
The Municipality confirmed that this grant is a step for the development and sustainability of agricultural reality and benefits the beneficiaries within the Al-Ghab region, which is one of the most productive and fertile agricultural areas, and helps them develop and invest green spaces and achieve their financial independence.
