An unleashed Rottweiler and a terrified woman: This led to a four-centimetre-deep bite wound on the arm and a hearing in the district court.

Parsdorf/Grafing

– The 35-year-old defendant assured the court that he had always put his dog on a leash.

"That was something special!" His little daughter asked if she could play with the dog.

Because they were in a large, deserted parking lot in Parsdorf, Grafinger unleashed the dog.

Woman says, "I'm just scared"

Shortly thereafter, a woman came out of the restaurant that owns the parking lot.

She asked the man to leash the dog.

He refused, which caused the woman to panic. A few months earlier she had been pursued by a Doberman Pinscher and since then she has been "just scared," she told the court.

She couldn't say exactly how she reacted in the most recent case, she only knew that she felt frozen.

Accused: Woman screamed hysterically

The accused said the woman started screaming as soon as they left the restaurant.

She "screamed hysterically" and waved her hands.

That's how the dog became aware of her in the first place.

"And then I was overwhelmed by the situation myself," admitted the 35-year-old.

The dog did not bite the woman's arm, but only bit once, both confirmed.

The defendant immediately put the dog on a leash and put it in his car.

"I'm just concerned that he should leash his dog," emphasized the woman in court.

"I hope nothing happens to the dog."

The defendant has already been convicted six times.

Five of them for intentional or dangerous bodily harm.

Judge Vera Hörauf has now sentenced him to a fine of 3,600 euros for negligent bodily harm.
