A teacher from Jerusalem in his 30s was questioned by the police after it was suspected that he smoked drugs together with students from an educational institution where he taught in the city.
In addition, a number of boys suspected of supplying and using drugs were also questioned.
The suspected teacher was later sent to house arrest and banned from teaching for the next period.
These days, the investigators of the Jerusalem District Court are continuing the investigation of the case in full cooperation with the management of the educational institution.
Corporal Yuval Kaminz, head of the youth section at the Jerusalem District Court, stated: "This is an investigation that was opened as part of the ongoing police fight against the scourge of drugs, in particular among minors and teenagers.
As part of the investigation, the police investigators uncovered suspicions of the involvement of an educator at the educational institution in the drug crimes.
We will continue to carry out all the necessary actions in order to reach the truth and bring the people involved to justice."
