Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi called for intensifying efforts to implement the agreements signed between China and Iran to develop bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
During his meeting today with Chinese Deputy Prime Minister Hu Junhua and his accompanying delegation, Raisi stressed the need to develop cooperation between Tehran and Beijing for the benefit of the two countries, describing the delegation's current visit to his country as important.
For his part, Hu Junhua drew attention to his country's keenness to strengthen and deepen relations with Iran, explaining that China had and still respects Iran's national sovereignty and territorial integrity, and supports its efforts aimed at achieving its basic interests.
