Police officers of the North District in cooperation with police forces operated today (Tuesday) in the settlements of Deir Hana and Sakhnin, and took down 34 security cameras that were installed in the public space and were used by criminals.
The cameras were installed in the public space on light poles, lightning poles and public buildings.
Additional infrastructure equipment was also confiscated.

Since the beginning of the year, more than 1,000 weapons have been seized in the northern district: 622 rifles and pistols, 233 rifles, 389 pistols, 385 grenades, 33 explosive devices and 18 explosive devices.

Sen. Tamir Arad, commander of the Mashgav station, told Israel Hayom: "Police officers of the Northern District are working in every way against the families involved in crime incidents and violent crime, out of the belief of doing good to the good and hurting the criminals.
The dismantling of the cameras is part of a comprehensive attack system, which is a war of attrition against the perpetrators of shootings and crime in Arab society."
