Miki Spitzer, an ultra-Orthodox youth from the city of Beitar, is a nature and landscape photographer who manages to move people with his extraordinary photos.
This week he won an international competition held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.

Yehudus tells Miki: "As a nature and landscape photographer who likes to document the forces of nature, whether it's volcanoes, glaciers, northern lights, in particularly harsh weather conditions."

"I've always been attracted to photographing storms," he says, "in May 2021 I went to the USA to an area called Tornado Alley and chased tornadoes in 9 different states in the US.
The chase was difficult, challenging, sometimes dangerous, and with a lot of patience."
"On one of the days of the chase, I arrived in West Texas and a large tornado developed right in front of my eyes.
It was an amazing and special moving spectacle.
I managed to take a special picture where you see the storm approaching and a tremendous lightning that appears on the side," Spitzer tells Walla! Judaism.

As mentioned, the photo won the Bifa international photography competition held in Budapest, and according to him, "As an Israeli photographer, I feel that I represent the State of Israel in international competitions and there is nothing more exciting than winning."
