The world's largest travel group Tui is repaying the remaining state aid from the Corona crisis.
According to the company, it has reached an agreement with the State Economic Stabilization Fund (WSF) about the return of aid.
The agreement regulates the desired complete termination of the stabilization measures granted by the WSF, Tui surprisingly announced on Tuesday evening in Hanover.

According to the information, Tui intends to repay the silent participation 1 and the option bond granted by the end of 2023.
The repayment price is at least 730 million euros plus interest.
The credit lines of the state bank KfW, which are worth billions, are also to be significantly reduced.
The group wants to collect the necessary money by issuing new shares.
The project still has to be approved by the shareholders - and the EU Commission.
