These are the sentences requested on Tuesday by the public prosecutor in the appeal trial of the "wiretapping case".
At first instance, the former President of the Republic had been sentenced to three years in prison, one of which was firm.
A little earlier, Advocate General Yves Micolet insisted: “

Gilbert Azibert was asked to solicit advisers from the Court of Cassation
" so that they render a judgment favorable to Nicolas Sarkozy, author of an appeal in the Bettencourt case.
