César Ramos will referee the second semi-final of the World Cup between reigning champions France and surprise Morocco, scheduled for Wednesday (8.00 pm Italian time) at the Al Bayt stadium in Al Khawr (Qatar).
The Mexican 'whistleman', born in 1983, has already directed the round of 16 which pitted Portugal against Switzerland on 6 December.
Ramos will be assisted by compatriots Alberto Morin and Miguel Hernandez, with Venezuelan Jesus Valenzuela IV man.
The Canadian Drew Fischer will be at the Var, while the Colombian Nicolas Gallo will be the Avar.
Finally, the Brazilian Neuza Back will be the Var assistant and the American Armando Villarreal the Var support.
