Stefan Mross and Anna-Carina Woitschack have announced their separation.
After six years together, the two are over.
According to Schlager colleague Frank Zander, her television wedding could have been to blame.
Berlin – The year of separation 2022 did not spare Stefan Mross (47) and Anna-Carina Woitschack (30).
After weeks of speculation and a bubbling rumor mill, the former Schlager dream couple announced the end of their relationship on November 11 with an emotional message.
After so many public milestones, such as getting engaged and getting married on TV, they broke the hearts of their loyal fans with this sad news.

The "Always Sundays" duo did not provide an explanation for the relationship, but their colleagues still have a few sophisticated theories.
After Nino de Angelo (58) previously speculated about the reason for the separation of Stefan Mross and Anna-Carina Woitschack, Schlager veteran Frank Zander (80) also commented on the past romance of his musician colleagues.
He sees the trend in the celebrity world to make relationships so public as the main problem: "Sometimes I think to myself: does that have to be everything?", explains the successful singer in an interview with

On June 6, 2020, Stefan Mross and Anna-Carina Woitschack said yes to each other live on television with presenter legend Florian Silbereisen (41) – an incredibly romantic gesture, which, according to Frank Zander, can also backfire very quickly. "We all got married in secret at some point, then a photographer came along, that was the only thing," he recalls. "Now you get married on TV and I know 99 percent of the time it always goes wrong."
Public Love Stories: When Celebs Get Married on TV
There are celebrity couples who keep their romance so private that even the most observant fans don't notice.
Others share every stage of their relationship with the public.
Anna-Carina Woitschack and Stefan Mross got engaged and said yes to each other live on television with fellow pop singer Florian Silbereisen (41) and were otherwise very open with their love – whether on live tours together or as a moderator duo on " Everytime on Sundays".
Sadly, like some other celebrity couples, they've proved that love affairs, especially in the public eye, don't always end well.
In early 2012, it girl Kim Kardashian, 42, married her fiancé, Kris Humphries, 37, in a ceremony that was packaged as a reality documentary.
After just 72 days, she filed for divorce.

Frank Zander comments on the separation of Schlager couple Stefan Mross and Anna-Carina Woitschack
Frank Zander is not wrong - after all, with a love story as public as Stefan Mross and Anna-Carina Woitschack had, the public's watchful eye is always on the lucky ones.
"You anticipate everything - joy, glamor, beauty - and at some point everyday life is there (...) and then there is a fight," he said in an interview with

.
"I'm sorry, they're both okay, but that's the way it is - don't get married in front of TV." Who knows - maybe Stefan and Anna-Carina would still be together if they had kept their romance a little more to themselves?

It is well-intentioned advice that Frank Zander gives his Schlager colleagues.
Anna-Carina doesn't seem to want to repeat such a public love affair anyway.
Her new boyfriend Daniel is not a celebrity, lives away from the stages and TV cameras and has so far kept a low profile.
The fact that his wife gave away her heart again came as a great shock to Stefan Mross, because he found out about Anna-Carina Woitschack's new friend in the newspaper.
