Eleven people are currently indicted as part of an investigation into a vast drug trafficking network in the Toulouse region (Haute-Garonne), confirms to
Figaro
the Toulouse prosecutor's office.
In total, in one year, the police services intercepted, as part of this investigation, 156 kilos of cannabis resin and 1.6 kilos of cocaine, representing nearly 1.5 million euros of illegal goods.
According to France 3, the last seizure to date took place on December 7, with 1.2 kilos of cocaine and 6.5 kilos of cannabis as well as two automatic pistols recorded during a search by a sponsor of the network.
The first took place last March, during a customs interception: 64 kilos of cannabis had been seized.
Ten people in pre-trial detention
The judicial police and the anti-narcotics office (OFAST) then carried out the investigation, carrying out several arrests and seizures during the following months.
In total, eleven people were arrested during at least four different operations.
They are all referred and indicted for acts of importing, acquiring, transporting, possessing, offering or selling narcotics and participating in a criminal association.
Ten of them are in pre-trial detention.
