Although a green card is no longer needed, in recent days an indictment was filed, for receiving something fraudulently, against a 38-year-old resident of Bat Yam, who made a business out of his blood, when he promised normal serological tests for children for 400 shekels and each time he sent his blood for testing.
According to the indictment, the accused held a certificate of certification for drawing venous blood and he signed an agreement to transfer samples to the laboratory between him and the health corporation near the Shamir Medical Center.
As part of the agreement, the defendant undertook to perform PCR laboratory tests to identify the corona virus as well as an antibody test for the corona virus in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Health.

After the agreement was signed, he advertised himself as someone who performs normal serology tests for children in exchange for about NIS 400.
For a month, the accused took blood from the fingers of children under the age of 12, either by himself or through someone else on his behalf.
After that, he threw away the test tube with the blood he took from the children, pumped their blood into another test tube and stuck a sticker on it with the children's details in a way that was predicted to be a normal test sampled from the minors.
For each serological test, the defendant charged between NIS 200 and NIS 400.
Later, the defendant, by himself or through someone else, transferred the test tubes to "Assaf Harofeh".
In the serology tests conducted for the false tests, the children were found to have a level of antibodies that entitles them to receive a "green note".

In total, it emerged that the defendant took 32 false samples from children and fraudulently received a total of NIS 9,750 in 20 different cases, the indictment stated that: "All with the intention of creating a false representation that his tests come out positive for the corona virus, providing a 'green note', and thus increasing the audience his clients and the demand for tests by him."
