Yesterday, a 16-year-old was seriously injured from a stabbing during a fight at a school in Rehovot.

The MDA team that arrived at the scene evacuated him for further medical treatment at Kaplan Hospital in the city. The police said that several suspects were arrested after fleeing the scene.



Acquaintances and eyewitnesses said that the boy, who is connected to a criminal organization, ran away from masked men who broke into the school - and was stabbed in the principal's office. One of them He said that the victim may have owed money to the criminals or had an intimate relationship with a relative of a criminal.

A student at a nearby school who knew the victim's name and was in the area in the moments after the stabbing said: "I heard there were stabbings and I left in the middle of class to see what happened.
