The municipality of Moosinning has honored citizens for voluntary and social commitment as well as active firefighters.

Moosinning

– The town hall chief Georg Nagler also used the community meeting of Moosinning to honor a number of citizens.

First, he looked back at May 12, at the appointment of Anton Hofer and Rudi Ways as honorary citizens, and was pleased that he was able to welcome both of them to the packed Bürgersaal in Eichenried.

Then the current honors were announced.

From the music association, Nagler congratulated Monika Dollak for 25 years as a youth leader and Peter Huber for 20 years of voluntary work as chairman.

Three Country Gringos were also honored: Manfred Böhm (15 years chairman), Gabriele Böhm (five years youth leader) and Martin Voskors (five years youth leader).

The mayor also honored special social commitment.

On the one hand, Nagler thanked Torsten Grahl, who has been collecting donations for a wide variety of activities for many years.

Most recently he had organized the 1st Eichenried benefit concert.

An amount of 6,000 euros was collected there, which went to the parents' initiative for children with cancer in Munich.

Two men who are very committed to the "Anton Helpers' Circle" are Reinhard Pasch, the chairman of the Moosinning Warriors and Soldiers' Association, and Sepp Höllbauer, the rifle champion of the Moosinning Falke riflemen.

"On behalf of all the helpers, we would like to thank the organizers of the helpers' group," said the mayor.

Incredibly committed, Harry Hoyler, founder and chairman of the helper pig eV, is involved in several aid projects.

"Comedian Markus Langer called Harry the male mother Theresa," said Nagler with a smile.

"You can only take your hat off to his actions."

And Nagler himself was also honored.

For this he had to clear the podium and temporarily hand over the leadership of the meeting to 3rd Mayor Andreas Wachinger.

Nagler has been in active service with the Moosinning fire brigade for 25 years.

Karlheinz Breit was honored by the Eichenried fire brigade for 40 years and Leo Attensberger for 25 years.
