The chairman of Otzma Yehudit and the designated minister of national security today (Wednesday) attacked the former Commissioner Roni Elshich and said that he caused heavy damage to the police.

"Alsheich, it's a shame they didn't pass the law during your time. You would have resigned and we would have spared the tremendous damage you caused to the police," wrote Ben Gabir in a tweet on Twitter in which he responded to what Elsheich said in an interview with the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, according to which he would have resigned if he had been subordinated as commissioner to a political entity.
