While driving through Munich, a truck driver from Dachau collapsed at the wheel.
The truck rolled on without a driver.
Any help came too late for the man from Dachau.
Munich – The Munich police reported a serious accident that happened on Monday morning around 6 a.m. in Munich-Obersendling.
A 54-year-old from Dachau was driving his MAN truck on Höglwörther Strasse in the direction of Boschetsrieder Strasse.

The truck driver crossed the intersection there to Boschetsrieder Straße to drive onto Drygalski-Allee.
At that moment, the man behind the wheel collapsed.
The police write: "According to initial findings, the 54-year-old probably suffered an internal illness." The truck rolled on, but came off the lane on Drygalski-Allee to the left, rolled over the bike path and sidewalk and finally crashed into a lamppost.

The truck came to a stop as a result of the impact.
Fortunately, no other people were injured by the driverless truck.
Witnesses observed the accident and rushed to the cab of the truck.
They pulled the motionless man from the driver's seat and resuscitated him.
At the same time, the first responders informed the emergency services and the police.
The ambulance took the 54-year-old to a hospital.
But apparently any help for the man came too late.
He died a little later.
The Munich traffic police took over the further investigations.
