Yesterday, the Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates held a dialogue session between a delegation of Russian academics, diplomats and Syrian politicians, regarding the political and international reality and potential prospects in light of developments.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates stated that experts and researchers in international research institutions expressed their desire to see the opinions of Syrian diplomats and researchers, and to take these opinions with realism and appreciation in the studies they are doing to serve the bilateral relations between the two countries, especially in urgent economic issues, as well as the future of relations in all fields.
The session was attended on the Russian side by a group of researchers from various Russian research institutions that support Russian economic and political decision-makers, including the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Center for Middle East Studies, and the Institute of World Economy and International Relations.
