Holzkirchen – A man from Wolfratshausen was very lucky on Tuesday: he slid over state road 2073 near Holzkirchen, rolled over, crashed into trees – and was only slightly injured.

On Tuesday (December 13) at around 12:12 p.m. on state road 2073 at Teufelsgraben there was an accident involving a single car driver.

A 50-year-old from Wolfratshausen drove his car from Dietramszell towards Holzkirchen.

"In the right-hand bend after the Teufelsgraben, he came off the slippery road on his own due to his speed not being adjusted," the police said.

"He drove straight into the ditch, overturning the car." The drive was stopped by several small trees.

The 50-year-old was taken to the hospital by paramedics with minor injuries.

The car was no longer drivable and was towed away.

The property damage amounts to around 35,000 euros.
