Apparently, a man in Upper Bavaria wanted to cross the tracks on foot.
However, he was hit by an approaching train and killed.
Freilassing – A fatal accident happened with a train in Upper Bavaria.
The police informed about this in a press release on December 12.

Accordingly, the accident happened on Monday around 12:15 a.m. at Freilassing train station (Berchtesgadener Land district).
A 61-year-old was hit by a regional train and fatally injured.
The Kripo assumes a tragic accident.

The press release states the exact course of the accident: In the night from Sunday to Monday, a regional train with no passengers drove into Freilassing station.
At the same time, the 61-year-old probably wanted to cross the tracks on foot.
He was hit by the incoming train and fatally injured.
