The children's choir of the municipal music school surprised the Wolfratshausen city council in its Christmas session on Tuesday evening with a short appearance.

The Wolfratshausen city council received a surprise visit in its Christmas session - the spokesman for the SPD/FDP faction struck thoughtful tones.
Wolfratshausen – For the last time this year, the Wolfratshausen city council met for a public session on Tuesday evening.
For the first time since the local elections in mid-March 2020 again in the large meeting room of the town hall.
As a result of the corona pandemic - keyword distance rule - mayors and elected representatives have so far moved to the Loisachhalle.
Only one representative of the Greens did not have the change of location on Tuesday on their radar and appeared a little late, but the head of the town hall, Klaus Heilinglechner (citizens' association), opened the meeting with the chime at 5 p.m.

He said he was happy that city politics were being discussed again in their traditional place.
Fair trade tangerines and "Finest Nuremberg Elisen gingerbread" were on the tables - "and you can light the candles", Heilinglechner told the city councillors, "the building management is turning a blind eye today".

The children's choir of the municipal music school provided a surprise halfway through the session: the girls and boys, led by Yoshihisa Kinoshita, got the committee in the mood for the festival of love with Christmassy tunes.
"There has never been so much harmony here," stated Fritz Schnalder (SPD).
"We can be proud of this choir," said Heilinglechner.
The multiple award-winning singers are a "positive figurehead" for the rafting town, agreed Dr.
Hans Schmidt (Greens) with the head of the town hall.

At the end of the Christmas session, the mayor thanked the city councilors for the good cooperation this year, and his "special thanks" went to the employees of the municipality.
In the past few months, shaken by the effects of the corona pandemic and the war in Ukraine as well as a chronically high level of sick leave, they have achieved “enormous achievements”.
Heilinglechner politely appealed to the committee to "give the administration a little breathing space to work through the issues" that are currently on the agenda.
The spokesman for the SPD/FDP parliamentary group, Fritz Meixner, had previously taken stock.
"The crises have done something to us." Many people are "exhausted, drained and thin-skinned".
He recalled that "there are no salespeople in the bakery" and that "despite the high level of illness, children are cared for" in the day-care centers.

Meixner pointed out that "the self-evident is not self-evident".
"More is quickly required," he said, looking at a poster for the alliance "Wor for Future" ("expand public transport!") in front of the town hall.
On the one hand, the district is investing eight million euros in the expansion of local public transport - and on the other hand, Meixner emphasized: "People are sitting everywhere." The fact that "everyone is doing their best" should "be brought into focus" more often.
And: "We should all be a little more careful with ourselves here - that also applies to me."

The Christmas session ended with mayors, city councilors and city hall employees enjoying a meal together in Wolfratshausen's "Italy" restaurant.
