In Gelsenkirchen, a police chase for a 20-year-old ended on Tuesday evening in a wall.
He was driving without a driver's license.
Gelsenkirchen – A 20-year-old driver from Gelsenkirchen (NRW) wanted to flee from the police late Tuesday evening.
At more than 150 km/h, the man without a driver's license raced away from the emergency services.
But his escape ended in a property wall.

A police patrol car had previously noticed the 20-year-old around 11:50 p.m. on Frankampstrasse in Erle, reports 24RHEIN.
"An officer recognized the man from a past incident in which he had to surrender his driver's license.
For this reason, the person concerned should be subjected to a general traffic control, ”explained a police spokesman on Wednesday.
But when the man from Gelsenkirchen noticed the police car in his rear-view mirror, he put his foot down.
He is said to have raced through the parking lot of a discounter and then onto Oststrasse.
According to the police, the 20-year-old also ignored the blue lights and siren that had been switched on.
"During his journey, he accelerated his car to over 150 km/h, at the permitted 50 kilometers per hour," reports the police spokesman.

The chase came to an abrupt end shortly thereafter.
His car went off the road on Ewaldstrasse and crashed into a knee-high property wall.
The 20-year-old was not injured, but still did not have a driver's license.
The car was towed away and seized as evidence.
The man is now awaiting a report.
According to the police, the actual vehicle owner should also be held responsible "for allowing driving without a license".
