The Commerce and Economic Bureau expects to provide incentives for 200 exhibitions during the three-year period of the new scheme.

The authorities believe that the new plan must be targeted, and more resources should be allocated to more experience-effective exhibitions that have been greatly affected by the epidemic in the past three years. At the same time, the competitiveness of Hong Kong's convention and exhibition industry should be enhanced to cope with competition from neighboring regions.
