The Herrschinger “Post” and WWK Volleys are starting a special Christmas campaign: the Bundesliga volleyball players are making gingerbread houses and giving them to children.
Herrsching
– The Herrsching “Post” landlady Elisabeth Walch is always good for unusual ideas.
For her latest idea she has now won the volleyball players from the hottest club in the world (GCDW).
The 15 players of the Bundesliga team tinker, decorate, glue and beautify gingerbread houses together.
Next Monday, December 19, at 5 p.m., Elisabeth Walch and her team, head coach Thomas Ranner and the WWK Volleys players will get down to business in the “Post” beer garden.
"We have a Christmas mission together," says the landlady.
The aim of the campaign is to get “15 individual little witches' houses made with a lot of love and the highest player quality” ready – and to give these to children.
"The first 15 children, mums or dads, who send an email to postwirtin@post-herrsching.com with the subject 'Hex Hex' will receive their personal little witch's house on Monday," explains Elisabeth Walch.
There is also children's punch in an atmospheric setting, while parents can enjoy the Christmas spirit by the fire bowl with mulled wine and a regional bratwurst from the new "Post" food truck.
If you want to take part, you only have to keep one thing in mind: "For our gingerbread houses, we are looking for families who are particularly happy about one of the self-made houses."
