The "Europe 1" radio station in France announced today (Wednesday) that the country's authorities believe that there is a fear of violent riots, which will develop from extreme right-wing elements following the World Cup semi-final match between France and Morocco, which is being held in Qatar tonight.
According to a document obtained by the radio station, the country's General Administration for Internal Security stated that there was a fear that extreme right-wing elements might increase the chaos in the streets, and that neo-Nazi accounts were found on social media that called for a "civil conflict between the two countries."
It was also reported that in the city of Strasbourg dozens of members of a neo-Nazi group announced that they intend to go to the city center at the end of the game to "patrol" and "restore order".

The Moroccan team has become a symbol in the country, where many immigrate from Morocco, and according to the French authorities, fans from "working class neighborhoods focus on the actions of the team".
Also according to the published document, the General Administration for Internal Security claimed that "if Morocco wins, the riots may intensify and spread to other areas, where there is a strong representation of Algeria or Tunisia, especially to problematic neighborhoods that were not affected in the previous game."
According to reports in recent days, the police on the French island of Corsica received several reports that Corsican youths attacked Moroccan fans who were celebrating Morocco's victory over Portugal last weekend.
It was also reported that a dozen young nationalists on the island attacked Moroccan vehicles while chanting racist slogans.
