-- The Qatar 2022 World Cup final will be played on Sunday, December 18 at the Lusail Stadium at 06:00 pm local time (10:00 am Miami time).
It will be between France (champion in 1998 and 2018) and Argentina (champion in 1978 and 1986), which means that the winning team will get its third World Cup.
The 64th match of the competition, from which the new owner of the World Cup will emerge, can be seen at 09:00 am if you are in Mexico and at 12:00 pm in the case of Argentina.

The Lusail Stadium, with 80,000 seats, hosted matches of all phases, including several featuring Latin American teams in the group stage such as Argentina-Saudi Arabia (November 22), Brazil-Serbia (November 24), Argentina-Mexico (November 26), Portugal Uruguay (November 28), Saudi Arabia-Mexico (November 30) and Cameroon-Brazil (December 2).
The stadium, which is located 20 km north of the city of Doha, also hosted a round of 16 match between Portugal and Switzerland (December 5), a quarterfinal between the Netherlands and Argentina (December 9) and the semifinals between Argentina and Croatia (December 13).

The venue, in addition to being the largest for the first cup to be played in the Gulf, will also become the "central hub of a new metropolis called Lusail City," explains FIFA.
Once the World Cup ends, according to the organization, the infrastructure will be transformed into a space for community use that has schools, health centers, shops, sports facilities and cafeterias.

With the decision that the World Cup would be played in the months of November and December, the final is just a few days before Christmas.
One of the reasons that made the competition unfeasible in June and July, as is tradition, are the temperatures.
For December, according to the forecast of the World Meteorological Organization, the maximum average will reach 24.1 degrees Celsius and the minimum average will reach 15 degrees Celsius, according to the calculation made based on the temperatures of the period 1962-1992.
