Today (Thursday) the police arrested another suspect in involvement in the assassination attempt on a Lamborghini that happened on Route 6 at the beginning of the month - just before he boarded a plane in Israel. A short time later, the suspect, Muhammad Abu Amar, a resident of Ramla in his thirties, was brought before the Rishon Lezion Magistrate's Court. Together with the other three suspects in the case - and their detention was extended by a week.
At the hearing, lawyer Shukri Abu Tabik, who represents the fourth suspect Muhammad Abu Amar, claimed that his client did not know at all that he was wanted for questioning - and was caught while he was on his way to a family vacation abroad.
"There is a weakness of evidence in his case. When the police do not answer my questions, I understand that there is probably no evidence."

The investigation of the case reveals that on the day of the incident, three vehicles with a large number of suspects arrived near a Lamborghini type vehicle and blocked it.
After that, they unloaded from the vehicle, and started hitting the luxury vehicle and its occupants with clubs, shovels, and sharp objects.
An ambulance that was called to the scene located the injured after the suspects fled.
At these moments, a motorcycle with two passengers emerged and opened fire at the lower body of one of the wounded, who was suspected to be the main target of the attack.
According to the suspicion, the background to the incident is criminal, and the assassination attempt was planned in detail - so the black Lamborghini car was planned to be blocked in a tunnel near the Ben Shemen intersection, where those involved attacked its passengers.
The victims, aged 31 and 46, were evacuated to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva with penetrating injuries.
"Inside the tunnel we saw a vehicle standing on the side and nearby was a man with penetrating injuries and another man also with penetrating injuries," the MDA teams said.
