Sarah Connor was supposed to appear on "People, Pictures, Emotions" on Sunday evening.

However, the singer had to cancel because she had a cold.

Ironically, Thomas Gottschalk seems to be happy about this decision.

Hürth - On Sunday (12/11/2022) Thomas Gottschalk (72) and ex-politician Karl-Theodor Guttenberg (51) led together for the first time through the annual review "People, Pictures, Emotions".

The two moderators reviewed the past year together.

For this they had invited prominent guests from sports, politics and film.

The star guest of the evening was supposed to be Sarah Connor (42), but she had to cancel at short notice for health reasons.

At least by phone she was connected to the RTL program.

When Thomas Gottschalk asked her about her health, the "Vincent" singer replied with a cold: "It's definitely a bad cold.

But it was actually to be expected because everyone around me fell down in rows.” The 42-year-old also explained that she would have liked to have been part of “People, Pictures, Emotions”.

She was also sure that she caught the infection from her children.

Thomas Gottschalk then came up with nothing better than to reply:

"It was a shitty year, but there is also good news: Sarah Connor canceled."

The singer was still on the line, but suddenly speechless.

She didn't seem to know the right answer to Gottschalk's inappropriate comment.

The moderator then defused his tip against Sarah Connor, but the singer could no longer be appeased.

Knew?

Thomas Gottschalk has been in front of the camera since 1976.

His breakthrough came with the music clip program “szene”.

The “How beautiful you are” interpreter then shot the 72-year-old on Instagram.

She asked angrily in her story: "Ok, what was that just now?".

The hashtags "Old white men", "RTL, you still have a lot to learn" and "I don't have to put up with it" pack a punch.

What Thomas Gottschalk probably only meant as a joke seems to have hit Sarah Connor seriously.

But not only Sarah Connor seems to perceive the moderator as an "old white man".
