A 40-year-old woman from Ingolstadt could hardly believe her luck.

In the TV competition for the Bavarian lottery ticket, the Upper Bavarian won a whopping 450,000 euros.

Ingolstadt –

"It's such a huge drum with so many little snippets.

That won't work in 100 years': With this attitude, 40-year-old Mandy Buhrau handed in her second-chance sections of the Bayernlose at the acceptance point.

As Lotto Bayern reports, she was taught better on December 2nd.

"The 40-year-old from Ingolstadt won the record sum of 450,000 euros in the TV competition for the Bavarian ticket on Bavarian television."

Upper Bavarian wins 450,000 euros and is completely overwhelmed: "It was completely over for me"

Every Thursday, as part of the “Wir in Bayern” program, candidates spin the wheel of fortune and can win prizes of at least 5,000 euros.

The participants will be drawn live on TV from a glass drum containing around 120,000 second-chance ticket sections of the Bayern lottery ticket per broadcast.

The Ingolstadt native's ball fell into a joker field on the first spin, so she was allowed to spin the wheel a second time to triple the maximum amount of 150,000 euros.

“When Mandy Buhrau hit the field with the largest number on the wheel of fortune, winning €450,000 was perfect.

She burst into tears that stifled any verbal outburst of joy."

As soon as she hit the joker field, Buhrau thought: “Are they serious?

You don't think that that can happen.” When the ball came to rest in the “150,000” field after her second spin, she was overwhelmed.

"It was completely over for me then.

You can see the sum, but you don't believe it," explains the record winner of her emotional outburst towards Lotto Bayern.

All the tension was gone at once.

On Monday (December 12) a man from Bavaria was also able to celebrate a win.

The 87-year-old pensioner earned 1.2 million euros with a bet of only 2.50 euros.

Win for Upper Bavarian: "We definitely don't have to be afraid of the electricity bill"

Upper Bavarians can't believe what they could do with their winnings.

"I don't know the amount.

What I have achieved, I have worked for myself.

I didn't grow up saying: I'll throw away the money with my hands full.

I had to do without a lot when I was a child, even though my mother did everything for me and my brother.”

The first thing she wants to do is buy a new couch and a tumble dryer with the profits.

She will calmly discuss all further plans with her brother and mother.

"We won't buy the couch until next year, because otherwise I'd have to completely rearrange the Christmas decorations," she says to Lotto Bayern.

"Maybe we'll buy a new car.

We're enjoying having so much money up our sleeves.

In any case, we don't have to be afraid of the electricity bill."
