205 of the families of the Tartous martyrs were awarded the Order of Fidelity

Tartous, SANA honored the Tartous governorate in cooperation with the Directorate of Martyrs, Wounded and Missing Affairs and the Martyrs’ Department in the locality.

The Tartous governorate, in cooperation with the Directorate of Martyrs, Wounded and Missing Affairs, and the Martyrs' Department in the governorate, honored 205 families of the martyrs in the governorate, and presented them with medals of devotion during a ceremony hosted by the Arab Cultural Center in Tartous.

The event included a short film about the sacrifices of our brave soldiers on the field and the fighting fronts during the terrorist war on Syria, in addition to a song for the wounded Asef Suleiman and his band, in which they performed patriotic songs and folk dances.

The governor of Tartous, Abdul Halim Awad Khalil, stressed in his speech that the martyrs summed up the values ​​of life and its glorious deeds, and they deserved immortality, glorification, reverence and appreciation, pointing out that our great people are racing to seek martyrdom, and our army is not satisfied with surrendering.

Major General Bassam Berri, Director of the Directorate of Martyrs, Wounded and Missing Affairs, addressed the families of the martyrs, addressing: You are people of persistence and determination who gave the greatest lessons of patience, love of the homeland, belonging to it and defending it, considering that the blood of the martyrs is the basis of our steadfastness and a beacon that lights the path for our future generations.

The father of the martyr, Major Basil Muhammad Anjari, gave a speech to the families of the martyrs, in which he considered that these medals bearing the names of the heroes of Syria, the martyrs of the right in the battle to defend the homeland, are an honor and a source of pride for the families of the martyrs.

Ghinwa Hassan, director of the Martyrs' Office in the governorate, who presented the honoring ceremony, indicated in her speech that the martyrs wrote epics of heroism and pride, and that their families instilled in the hearts of their children love for the homeland and offering the dear and precious in order to preserve its unity.

The honoring ceremony was attended by the Secretary of the Arab Socialist Baath Party branch, Muhammad Hussein, the police chief, Brigadier General Wafiq Abu Dalah, and the director of the Tartous Endowments, Abdullah Al-Sayed.
