With the participation of 30 women, the Gregorian exhibition entitled (We Saw a Star in the East) was opened today, which is organized by the Saint Joseph Scout Group in the Chaldean Cathedral Hall in Aleppo. Eid, juices, and types of Aleppo foods that represent the traditional heritage.
Father Farid Boutros Khoury, the guide of the fraternal scout group organizing the exhibition, explained in a statement to SANA reporter the importance of the church's role in organizing exhibitions to serve the community and overcome difficult circumstances, in addition to encouraging youth and children to be active and influential in making joy through their various products at the exhibition.
The head of the Chaldean Scouts in Aleppo, Chef Hani Abdel Nour, explained that the exhibition, which lasts for three days, is part of the preparations for the celebration of Christmas, and includes the handcrafted products of the participating women and youth of small ages.
Camera SANA monitored the opinions of a number of participants in the exhibition, where Malaka Kharchi talked about her participation with her fellow women with handicrafts and ornamental artifacts that express the joy of Christmas, and offered them at discounted and encouraging prices, hoping that peace would come to Syria so that it would return to shining as it was.
Ugarit Topal drew attention to her participation in Aleppian food and sweets for Christmas celebrations, while Sally Aweka said that she is working on manufacturing decorative accessories, woodwork and resin from statues and dolls to restore the sweet spirit and joy during the month of Christmas and offer them at competitive prices.
Siham Kasour explained that it displays handmade woolen handicrafts for children and women in the winter and types of decorations, in addition to paintings of vitamins, which require a lot of time and precision to be manufactured, which express the joys of the holidays. They can manufacture it at home with simple resources.
