Bills keep coming for the new building.
The final bill is still pending.
Geretsried – The intermunicipal indoor pool on Adalbert-Stifter-Strasse has been in operation for a good year now, managed by the Geretsrieder Stadtwerke.
Financially, however, the municipality still has to do with it.
Invoices totaling 755,450.04 euros have been received since opening - and more are expected.

In its Christmas meeting, the city council approved the payment of the amount in the form of a capital contribution to the earmarked capital reserve for the municipal utility company's indoor swimming pool area.
The Stadtwerke have already paid in advance, reported Controller Thomas Schmid.
They would have taken over the pool in September 2021 with an opening balance sheet total of around 14.9 million euros.
"This amount included the value of the property and the construction costs that were commissioned and paid for by the city of Geretsried by August 31, 2021," explained Schmid.
At this point in time not all invoices had been issued by the construction companies.
According to the controller, the 755,450.04 euros are not yet the final remaining amount.
"As expected, it will be several months before the last invoice is received."
It is contractually agreed that the city will take over the investments that are still part of the initial construction of the indoor pool.
The bills were checked, Schmid assured.
New investments are to be borne by the public utilities themselves, but could be allocated by absorbing losses as part of depreciation.
The cost of new construction has continued to rise
When it opened, Mayor Michael Müller reckoned with construction costs of 19 million euros.
The district, the city of Wolfratshausen and the municipalities of Dietramszell, Egling, Eurasburg, Icking, Königsdorf and Münsing participate in the pool using a fixed distribution key.
You bear a cost increase of at most 15 percent, everything else has to be taken over by the city of Geretsried.
Due to the overheated construction industry, the costs during the construction work continued to rise.
