For the second time, piano students play in the open air for seniors in Plannegg.

They spread the spirit of Advent in front of the Evangelical care center.

Planegg

- From Mozart's motet "Exsultate, jubilate" to "Merry Christmas everywhere" with six hands on the electric piano: Petra Löhlein and her two dozen piano students spread the Advent mood outdoors in front of the Protestant care center in Planegg for a good hour on Thursday afternoon.

For the second time, the concert took place on the forecourt in front of the building due to the corona.

Visits are now allowed, but according to Löhlein it is "much too expensive" to have all children take a test in order to be able to perform in the building.

The appointment in the open air has another advantage.

Löhlein: "It's relaxed for the children.

They're a lot more nervous in the concert hall.” Wrapped up tightly and wearing hats, they sat down at the instrument in the cold on the snow-cleared square and filled the air with Christmas sounds.

The freshly fallen snow created a wintry atmosphere.

In addition to the children and young people, the soprano Seung-Hee Jang was there for the first time.

Löhlein has been her piano partner since last summer.

Seung-Hee Jang opened the concert with Löhlein on the e-piano with a Christmas song she composed herself and ended with the Mozart motet.

In between, the piano students played mostly Christmas carols.

A large loudspeaker ensured that the sounds also reached the residents of the upper floors and the people at the nearby bus stop.
