Today, the Ministry of Education, in cooperation with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), held a virtual educational forum entitled (Educational supervision between reality and means of transformation in education) with the participation of the first mentors in the ministry and via video, mentors from the governorates, directors of education and heads of departments, in addition to Arab participants from Sudan, Yemen and the Sultanate Oman and Kuwait.

A number of topics related to assessment for learning and teaching in special cases, transformation in education, educational vocational competencies in the twenty-first century, stimulating school environment, learning and skills for life, work, sustainable development, community partnership in education, school violence and ways to address it were discussed.

The Minister of Education, Dr. Darem Tabaa, stressed in a speech during the forum the importance of mentoring and its role in developing the educational process, the need for the mentor to have leadership skills and communication capabilities, cooperation and coordination with teachers, and the importance of interaction with parents.

Minister Tabaa explained the tasks of the mentor in following up teachers, especially with regard to training and applications of developed curricula, monitoring problems and working to solve them, pointing to the need to familiarize themselves with educational laws and regulations, technological developments, and focus on moral values ​​to enhance belonging and citizenship.

The Director of the Education Department at the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), Frederick Affolter, stated that the transformation of education is related to practical practices. Supervision, follow-up and attention give a positive impact on students, while the organization's consultant Claudine Aziz stressed the importance of continuous joint work to develop the educational process and the efforts made by the Ministry in this regard. the field.

In her turn, the Director of Educational Supervision at the Ministry, Enas Maya, considered the forum a starting point for activating educational research among educational supervisors, specialists, teachers and administrators.
