With mulled wine and pre-Christmas delicacies, small gifts and handicrafts, the Christmas markets in the district of Munich also attract the citizens on the fourth weekend in Advent.

Once again this weekend, the Christmas market will be presented in the beer garden of the Ayinger Bräustüberl.

The booths are open on Saturday, December 17 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday, December 18 from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.

On Saturday there is also parlor music in the Stüberl from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., on Sunday the Mangfalltal alphorn players perform between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. and create an Advent atmosphere with their sounds.

Brunthal

At the TSV Brunnthal Christmas market on Sunday, December 18th, from 3 p.m. at the car park on Jahnstraße in Brunnthal, there is plenty to experience and enjoy for young and old.

In addition to white and red mulled wine and children's punch, visitors are also offered hot drinks, fresh beer and warming schnapps.

Those who are hungry will get their money's worth with Franconian grilled sausages, steaks and hamburgers.

With eggnog and waffles, we have also thought of those who like sweets.

Craftsmanship is presented at the Christmas market as well as a surprise performance by the Brunnthal boys.

At 4 p.m., the Sauerlach-Brunnthal music school will provide Advent sounds, at 5 p.m. the children's dance department will show their skills.

Of course, in the course of the afternoon or evening, St. Nicholas will also stop by.

This year, for the first time, the Dürrnhaar Christmas market will take place between the fire brigade and the Burschenhütten - on Saturday, December 17th, from 2 p.m.

The organizers - the lads' association, the "Wilde Wiese" kindergarten and the Kirchfeldschützen Dürrnhaar - are looking forward to many visitors who can enjoy mulled wine, punch, Christmas delicacies, local specialties and homemade goods.

At 3 p.m. the Advent singing of the Wilde Wiesenkinder begins, at 4 p.m. St. Nicholas comes.

Feldkirchen

After a long break there is also a Christmas market in Feldkirchen again, organized by the local boys and girls club.

From 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, December 18, visitors can stroll through the small market, which offers not only culinary delicacies but also products from Feldkirchen and handicrafts.

Santa Claus has also announced his visit.

On Friday, December 16, the Unterschleißheim Christmas market on the town hall square is all about music.

The children's choirs and groups from the local music school will present the song from the little star at 3 p.m.

From 5 p.m. the Schleißheimer Schloßpfeiffer will play Christmas music, at 7 p.m. the Transylvanian brass band will provide Christmas tunes.

Children can draw candles in the Christmas workshop on Saturday and Sunday between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.

There are also three performances of the Punch and Judy show in the library on Saturday between 2 and 4 p.m.

"Helena Schneider and friends" will play from 6.30 to 8 p.m. - also on Saturday new and well-known Christmas carols.

At the end of the Christmas market on Sunday, from 6.30 p.m., there will be Christmas sounds again with the town band.

This overview only includes Christkindl/Advent and Christmas markets on the fourth weekend in Advent.

Smaller bazaars, Advent meetings or singing, as well as nativity scene exhibitions, church services and smaller events organized by clubs and organizations will be announced separately.
