From January 1, 2023, you have no choice, you will pay more for your subscription to access Ile-de-France transport.
As announced on December 6 by the transport organizing authority of the Île-de-France region, Île-de-France Mobilités (IDFM), the monthly cost of the Navigo pass will be increased to 84.10 euros, against 75.20 euros until there.

, IDFM indeed confirms that users who have subscribed to an annual subscription paid in one go will not receive a call for charges.
In other words, the price increase is not retroactive.
If you have paid 827.20 euros before November 15 – in accordance with the rates in force since between 2017 and 2022 – to access the Ile-de-France transport network for one year, you will not suffer the 12% increase in the rates applicable from the 1st. next January, unlike monthly users.
The increase will only come into effect during a possible renewal one year after the subscription, in 2023 therefore.

The transport authority also explains that it is now too late for smart guys to try to take advantage of this loophole.
Since the subscription only starts from the first day of the following month, annual subscriptions now start from January 1, 2023 and the price increase applies immediately.
It will then cost you 925.1 euros, or one hundred euros more than currently.
