Opinion Prepare for the arrival of the boomerang: only those who do not trust Netanyahu's word need a law to anchor the agreement | Israel today

2022-12-15T21:59:54.375Z

Without the ability to maneuver, and without red lines, Netanyahu surrendered to the blackmail of the ultra-Orthodox parties • The emerging government will intensify dependence and coercion, and will only alienate the secular majority from Judaism • The damage will be devastating to society - and to the right

One clause in the coalition agreement with Torah Judaism I buy with both hands - increasing Bible studies in the state education system. It is of the utmost importance to impart national-Jewish content to the students, among other things to increase our national cohesion. But every other clause in this agreement, alongside many of the principles that the new coalition outlines, do exactly the opposite. The outlines of the government will not only not bring the majority of the public closer to Judaism - they will lead to a process of crushing society and the state. They may also break up what is known as the national camp.

It all starts with the fact that Benjamin Netanyahu is standing this time without alternatives and the ability to maneuver, guided by survival motives, without red lines.

It is on this infrastructure that the coalition partners conduct the negotiations, and for the ultra-orthodox parties the result is particularly devastating.

The phenomenon is not new, of course;

It stems from the unrestrained race of both political parties, who are ready to give everything to the ultra-Orthodox for power.

But this time we have reached the stage of changing from the bouncer.

It concerns the content of the requirements that the officer very much, but even more so the melody.

The peak is precisely in the attempt to anchor the evasion and exploitation in the constitution in a fundamental law: the study of the Torah.

The initial intention is to trick the High Court of Justice, but at the same time establish a principle according to which there are citizens who have obligations to the state and there are others whose only duty is, apparently, to study Torah.

This is a constitutional gift for a country that has first-class citizens - who are entitled to live at the expense of others, and second-class citizens - who serve.

This principle will be formally anchored in the soaring budgets for sector A, and even in "affirmative action" in appointments to boards of directors in government companies.

He will be immortalized in the final burial of the core studies and the vision of integration into society and the army.

The essence of insolence is found on another level, in determining the lifestyle for second-class citizens - the servants.

The ultra-Orthodox will dictate how the state will operate, what the parhasya will look like, and above all - what the others will do in their free time and on their Sabbaths.

Add to that the damage to the economy and the way the state functions.

The servants will have to face traffic jams on the way to work, when infrastructure works are carried out on weekdays.

They will finance the unnecessary tens of billions that electricity storage facilities will cost, and the rest of the systems that bypass all logic and order.

And those who believe that this way they will make the State of Israel more Jewish, are sorely mistaken.

Thus only Thomas and the humiliation of Judaism, thus the non-Orthodox/Orthodox Jews will be distanced from the connection to tradition and the nation. Already today, a Jewish wedding is seen as an Orthodox coercion by many, and from now on even studying the Bible will become an act of predatory coercion - God forbid.

Another component of the coalition being formed is the legislation, which is already causing a stir.

The first law - Deri's law, is nothing less than an obscene act that will not be washed away, designed to allow a serial criminal to escape the consequences of his actions.

The legislation from Ben Gabir and Smotrich is mostly justified, but it also stems from a deep wound - the complete lack of trust of the coalition partners at the head of their government.

Only those who do not trust, rightly, Benjamin Netanyahu's word and signature, needed a law that would precede the coalition agreement that would not be honored.

the tearing of the kingdom

If that's not enough, tearing some of the offices apart marks the tearing of the kingdom.

In the affairs of the Civil Administration and the administrations there is justification for a new order, but the other moves, especially in the Ministry of Education, are cutting the country into pieces.

They mark the elimination of the hope to build a Zionist state, which is a melting pot for the Jewish people.

From now on everyone goes to his own way formally, doing what he wants.

This is serious in itself, but especially outrageous, since the ultra-orthodox will not support themselves and maintain their safety, we will do that too.

And no, the knowledge that Gantz, Sa'ar and Lapid also built their attempt to stay in power on an alliance with the ultra-Orthodox and the same audacity, will not diminish the power of the cabal of a significant part of the country's citizens, including many from the national camp.

In the current problematic circumstances, the incoming government should have avoided touching the status quo in matters of ultra-Orthodox religion and the state.

It should have concentrated solely on the revolution in the area of governance and settlement in the West Bank, bringing about a proportionate legal reform, and of course regulating security comity. But, as it seems now, the Netanyahu-Deri government will lead a combined attack on the Israeli public, which will produce a backlash.

We can already see the beginnings of the uprising in the left-wing districts, but if the coalition promises come true, it will spread.

First of all, they will be shocked by the 14 mandates that voted for the right and New Hope in the previous elections.

These people have not changed their worldview and they will be the first to stand up against coercion in the field of religion and the state, against corruption and the dismemberment of the kingdom.

They will also be joined by many Likud and Otzma Yehudit voters, who will find it difficult to digest the new social vision, the ultra-Orthodox and Bibi style.

They too will look for political houses that will restore their way of life and dignity.

This will also pave the way for the left to return to power, prepare for the coming of the boomerang.

Palestine is "here"

Welcome to the studios of the Palestinian National Television.

This week they laughed in the studio about the despised and wretched Israeli journalists who are wandering around the World Cup in Qatar.

The station aired a skit, in which questions from the studio to Moab Verdi, the Zionist representative, who had to disguise himself as a German to talk to them, and then babble gibberish as if he were French, just so they wouldn't know he was Israeli.

Each time proud Palestinians and Arabs pass by with PLO flags in the background, and the representative of Israel acts in his pants. Until he starts chanting "Palestine" in rhythm and holding a microphone with the PLO symbol.

And the grand finale - Moab Verdi whines that he wants to go home because they hate the Israelis so much in Qatar.

One can debate the level of satire, but not the intensity of the hatred towards us.

The phenomenon repeats itself in every item, when the great satirists do not hide how much they justify the Palestinians and the Arabs who persecute us in Doha, because we occupy Palestine.

In the next skit, they interview Pike Zvi Yehezkali, and in front of his "lies" they slap him: Here it's not channels 12 and 13 that don't understand anything, we Arabs know the truth.

The agony of Moab.

Satire or hatred, photo: from the "Kan" broadcasts in Arabic

As someone who is used to incitement, rewriting history and hatred towards us, it is not surprising to receive this poison from an Arab-Palestinian station.

But what is special about these broadcasts is that it is the Israeli state television of "Kan 11" in Arabic.

Broadcast from Jerusalem and funded by Israeli taxpayers.

This is another expression of the fact that our television in Arabic has been handed over to the extremists among the Arabs of Israel, those who educate from the capital to an abysmal hatred towards the Zionist project.

What still remains to be determined is whether the captains of the state television are careful not to watch and understand what they are broadcasting in Arabic, or whether they are aware and support it with all their might.

In any case, it's time to close the shutter on these broadcasts and transmitters.
