In order to crack down on criminals using non-Chinese people to carry out illegal activities in the area, the Sham Shui Po Police District conducted a series of intelligence collection and analysis. Yesterday (14th) at 4:00 pm, it cooperated with the West Kowloon Regional Mobile Unit and the Immigration Department to launch a code-named "Champion". (CHAMPION) and "POLEREACH" (POLEREACH) interdepartmental anti-crime operations, raided and searched multiple locations in Sham Shui Po and Cheung Sha Wan, and made arrests.
During the operation, officers stopped and investigated a total of 426 people and arrested 31 people (14 men and 17 women), aged between 27 and 55.
Among them are 13 local men and women, 15 foreign men and women and 3 non-Chinese men and women.
Suspected of "theft", "operating a prostitution establishment", "managing a gambling establishment", "gambling in a gambling establishment", violating the Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Directions) (Business and Establishments) Regulations (Cap. 599F), "Violation of conditions of stay" and "failure to carry his identity document when going out".
The police arrested 31 people in Sham Shui Po District for various illegal activities.
