Real Madrid have signed sought-after 16-year-old Brazilian striker Endrick from Brazilian side Palmeiras, both clubs announced Thursday.
"Real Madrid CF, Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras and Endrick and his family have reached an agreement that allows the player to join Real Madrid when he reaches the age of majority in July 2024," the Spanish club said in a statement.
"Until then, Endrick will continue training with SE Palmeiras. The player will travel to Madrid in the next few days to visit our club's facilities," he added.
The 16-year-old Endrick, who made his first-team debut for the Brazilian club in October, became the youngest player to score for Palmeiras' first team, helping to win the 2022 Brasileirao title.
"We have completed the biggest negotiation in the history of Brazilian soccer," Palmeiras president Leila Pereira said.
"Real Madrid's proposal is compatible with Endrick's enormous talent and corresponds to the sporting and financial objectives that we have established since the beginning of the negotiations."

The Brazilian club kept the terms of the deal secret, but according to renowned Italian soccer journalist Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid signed the teen phenom for 60 million euros (about $63.6 million), and will pay a further 12 million in taxes.
The deal is through 2027, with an option through 2030.
According to Palmeiras, he is the only player in history to have been proclaimed champion with the albiverde team in all age categories, including Sub-11, Sub-13, Sub-15, Sub-17, Sub-20 and the first team.
"I thank Palmeiras, the Greatest Champion of Brazil, American champion, world champion and, forever, the club of my heart, for offering me everything I need to become what I am today, for helping me fulfill several of my dreams and for respecting my wish and that of my family to make another dream come true," Endrick said in a statement.
"Until I join Real Madrid, I will continue dedicating myself as always to offer Palmeiras even more on the field: more goals, more victories, more titles and even more happiness for our fans", he concluded.
