An attack occurred at a long-established "Hing Kee" clay pot restaurant in Yau Ma Tei.

Yesterday (14th) at about 11 o'clock in the evening, two "prince's sons" of "Xingji" were attacked and beaten by three evil spirits during their work.

The police arrived at the scene for investigation and arrested the man surnamed Zhou on suspicion of "ordinary assault". He reported injuries to his chest and knees and was sent to the hospital for treatment along with two female staff members who were attacked.

The case is now being followed up by the Criminal Investigation Team of the Yau Tsim Police District. Two men involved in the incident are still at large.

One of them was subdued by restaurant staff and was later arrested by the police.

The injured female victim, Ms. Chen, was interviewed by "Hong Kong 01" today (15th) and pointed out that at about 11:00 last night (14th), while she was working outside the shop, suddenly three menacing men rushed towards her and waved at her without explanation. Chen punched her, punched her face and head, and then beat her body.

Ms. Chen's younger sister and cousin who also worked in the store were also beaten. Ms. Chen said that her younger sister was "caught by the head and shaken to the ground" at one point, and her head was also injured.

The cousin's injury was the lightest, so he didn't need to be sent to the hospital for medical treatment.

Ms. Chen pointed out that in recent months, she had many frictions with a nearby restaurant that had been open for more than a year, setting up tables outside the door and "crowding customers". She suspected that she was attacked because of this.

The arrested man (right) was sent to hospital for treatment.

She continued that "Hing Kee" has been harassed by different methods recently, such as the 70-year-old elders in the family were scolded, the shop was poured with white oil and red oil, and some people suspected of pretending to be diners complained about the unclean food, and turned tables in the shop to cause trouble Wait.

However, as the nuisance incidents escalated again and again, Ms. Chen couldn't bear it any longer. She said helplessly, "He's going to ask someone to beat me this time. I don't know when (he) will get the knife."

After the attack, Ms. Chen suffered brain and head injuries, and her left foot was weak. She is staying in the hospital and awaiting further reports.

She also felt very innocent and pointed out that the situation was serious, "Our (Hing Kee) 50-year-old brand has been fine for so many years", and questioned why there were so many disasters after a new store opened nearby.

She hopes that the police will conduct a full investigation into the incident and arrest other attackers as soon as possible.

The female victim, Ms. Chen, was interviewed and told about the attack.
