The new teaching pool in the Grünwald amusement park has been completed.
The planners, craftsmen and builders managed it quickly.
Grünwald
– The new pool with a size of 16.6 by ten meters expands the range of swimming courses for both Grünwalder schools and public courses.
"We want our citizens, big and small, old and young, to have the opportunity to learn to swim, to train and to be able to stay fit into old age," says Grünwald's Mayor Jan Neusiedl.
A year and a half of construction
The building, which cost around seven million euros, was completed on time after only one and a half years of construction.
The water is let in.
The new teaching pool, which was created in an extension with a basement and made of an airy, light steel and glass construction as an extension to the existing swimming pool, will be opened in the new year.
Until then, the final work and the necessary approval will take place.
Stainless steel basin has an adjustable lifting floor
The Tyrolean team of architects from Pichler/Tschabrunn was responsible for the planning under the leadership of construction technology manager Peter Klessinger, who was responsible for overall coordination as client representative.

The swimming pool technology was expanded.
"With our new swimming pool, we are once again significantly improving Grünwald's exemplary infrastructure," said Neusiedl.
“I am particularly pleased that we can operate with absolutely sustainable and CO2-free energy through our district heating network and our own geothermal source.
That's why the water temperature doesn't have to be lowered at all.”
